In-Country PTDF Scholarship Scheme
PTDF Scholarship 2021 is aimed at developing petroleum technology and indigenous human capacity. Generally, Undergraduate, Masters’s, and Ph.D. Genrally, Nigerian students in Federal Universities can apply for the 2021 scholarship.
Requirement for In-Country PTDF Scholarship:
- National Identity Number (NIN) is a must, in addition, the applicant will verify their NIN.
- Ex benefit-tor of PTDF scholarships should not apply.
- However, only students of Federal Universities should apply
- Admission letter into the Federal University is compulsory.
- A Ph.D. student must have a research plan and research proposal.
- Undergraduate and MSC applicants must submit a statement of purpose for undertaking the study.
How to apply:
- Applicants can access the registration portal by visiting scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng
- After that, create an account with a valid email and proceed to verify your NIN
- Finally, complete the application.
2020/2021 PTDF POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP IN UK
PTDF Scholarship 2021: PDT Scholarship is open to qualified applicants for Overseas MSc & Ph.D. Scholarships to institutions in the UK for the 2020/2021 academic session. In addition, view the full list of sponsored courses and the list of UK Universities that is available on www.ptdf.gov.ng and scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng.
Requirement For Msc:
- BSc. Certificate/Academic transcripts, In addition, other professional certificates acquired, and relevant academic publications.
- Study/research plan.
- Statement of purpose for the study,
- National Youth Service (NYSC) certificate
- Five (5) O/level credits including Mathematics & English Language.
Requirement For Ph.D.:
- National Youth Service (NYSC) certificate
- Research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry. In addition, sample template is available on scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng
- Master’s degree project and MSc. Certificate/Academic transcripts, in addition, other professional certificates acquired, and relevant academic publications.
- BSc. Certificate or Statement of Result
- Five (5) O/level credits including Mathematics & English Language.
- In addition, local Government Identification Letter

PTDF Scholarship 2021: PDT Scholarship is open to qualified applicants for Overseas MSc & Ph.D. Scholarships to institutions in France/Germany/China/Malaysia for the 2020/2021 academic session. Furthermore, view full list of sponsored courses and a list of UK Universities that is available on www.ptdf.gov.ng and scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng ).
In addition, applications close on 17th February 2021, and candidates interested to study in Germany can apply for admission via https://portal.daad.de/irj/portal.
